Die Kunstarche Wiesbaden e.V. verleiht den Gottfried Pott Gedächtnis-Preis an den norwegischen Kalligraphen Christopher Haanes.
Der Preis und der Preisträger
The Gottfried Pott Memorial Award draws on Gottfried Pott’s international career as a calligrapher and aims to keep his contacts and network alive.
The board of Kunstarche Wiesbaden is delighted to present this award to the Norwegian calligrapher Christopher Haanes. Like Gottfried Pott (1939–2024), Christopher Haanes is an active calligrapher, teacher and committed contributor to the international calligraphic community.
He has contributed many articles on calligraphy and related subjects, including one about Rudo Spemann.
